In 2018, Matt started his career in real estate by flipping houses in Phoenix, Arizona.

With little passion for the city life, he quickly turned to land.

Matt, aka "Farmer Matt", read all of Joel Salatin's Books and watched endless hours of YouTube about Regenerative Farming.

Inspired by Joel's books, Matt uprooted his life in Arizona to start his homestead in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

With very little farming experience, he followed Joel's books to successfully raise 80 Cornish Cross meat chickens his first year.

His neighbor let him use some land the following year, when he built 2 more chicken tractors and raised 240 chickens!

Matt has combined his love for real estate with his passion for homesteading. And, that's how Homestead Land For Sale began.

"On 20 acres, my family could grow food together, and have family dinners every night. I think a lot more people want this. My goal is to help families do just that - start a homestead" - Matt
